Thursday we will be open from 11 AM to 3 PM, then closing for our Ticketted "Goodbye event".
Friday, August 28th we will be open from 11 AM to 6 PM when we close our doors for a final time.
We here at Mullahy’s have been honored to share our passion for fine cheeses, specialty foods/ beverages and good conversation with you. Whether you stopped in weekly, joined us for a tasting or class, or discovered us while passing by, you helped make this shop a place filled with great energy, lots of laughter and lasting memories, however, as my favorite Beatle George Harrison says: “All things must pass and all things must fade away”.
After 10.5 wonderful years, the time has come for us to close Mullahy’s Retail Shop. We have decided not to renew our lease at the end of August. This decision was not an easy one, and we want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every customer who walked through our doors. What began as a small business became a community and destination on Main Street because of your support, loyalty and friendship.
We could not have done this without everyone who helped us along the way. We want to thank our family and friends who have worked with us and helped us make Mullahy’s special. We’d especially like to give a shout out to Joe Hicks, our Cheesemonger, who has been with us for most of this journey. Thank You! You are part of what has made Mullahy’s exceptional and we are very grateful you decided to be on our team.
While we begin to close this chapter, we do so with gratefulness and wonderful memories of everyone who made this journey worthwhile. Thank you for 10.5 amazing years of Making it Easy to Keep Downtown Hudson Cheesy!
We will have more information regarding our store closing as we get closer to August. In the meantime, we will be operating with a “business as usual” approach. We will continue our normal hours, catering, classes etc. New Gift Cards will not be issued, but will continue to be accepted for purchases. The Cheese Club will go on hiatus after August. This will enable Katie time to reevaluate her business model and work on Mullahy’s 2.0 More on that in the future.
